Space Program
Valley View physics students design microgravity experiments and write proposals for the chance to send their experiment to the International Space Station (ISS). Once an experiment is selected for flight, all VVHS students have the opportunity to compete to design a mission patch to represent the mission and community.
Moreno Valley Unified School District students in grades 6-12 participate in this opportunity through the Student Spaceflight Experiment Program (SSEP), a model U.S. national STEM education initiative. SSEP is a program of the National Center for Earth and Space Science Education (NCESSE) and the Arthur C. Clarke Institute for Space Education.
