Finalist for Riverside County 2025 Teacher of the Year
Michael Bernbaum currently serves on the Moreno Valley Unified School District Visual and Performing Arts Curriculum Advisory Council and the Site Budget Committee. As a result of Mr. B's instruction, guidance, support, and mentorship his students have been recognized with hundreds of creative awards at district, regional, state, national, and international competitions. His AP Studio Art and Design students have a 100% passing rate on the AP portfolio exam - a feat that has endured for 15 years straight! Mr. Bernbaum is an active professional artist in the region, with his work in the permanent collection of many nations’ museums. He has also created work for Catholic Charities of Riverside/San Bernardino counties for their Providing Help, Creating Hope campaign.
