Active parent involvement is imperative to the academic success of students at Valley View High School.  To facilitate and encourage parent and community involvement, parents, teachers, students, and community members work collaboratively to develop the school’s goals and objectives.  Parents are encouraged and needed to participate in the following committees:

Parent, Teacher, Student Association (PTSA): 

The main role of this group is to build strong working relationships among parents, teachers and schools in support of students.  This can include recruiting and coordinating volunteers, providing special recognition in awards ceremonies or through other activities, organizing parent education events, planning teacher appreciation activities and much more.
